POWER AND LIGHT PRODUCTIONS, INC.. (P&L) is located just outside Wauchula Florida in Hardee County. This 501c3 non-profit, non-denominational ministry was established in January, 2001, under the direction of Mike Graham and a volunteer board of directors. From the beginning, the mission of P&L has been to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ with an emphasis on dramatic arts. Projects have included Club Forty 31 (a Christian youth center for teenagers – no longer in operation due to the hurricane of 2004), Real Life Church, THE STORY OF JESUS and THE STORY OF NOAH. The two Biblical, epic, plays are each produced biannually in March and April by hundreds of volunteers throughout central Florida. Funding is made possible through ticket sales, merchandise sales, and donations from individuals, businesses and organizations. The P&L board and participants share a common faith.

WE BELIEVE in one God who manifested himself through his only son, Jesus Christ.

WE BELIEVE that this same Jesus was born of a virgin, lived among us, died on the cross for our sins, rose from the grave on the third day, and ascended into Heaven. WE BELIEVE that salvation and eternal life is not earned by human merit but is a free gift for any who will accept it by claiming Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. WE BELIEVE that God seeks to carry out his will today through the indwelling gift of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians, who, together form the church, and together await his second coming and the gift of eternal life in Heaven.

OUR VISION - Although the plays are produced in a rented facility, P&L has always had the vision to build its own theater which would greatly enhance the performances, increase opportunities and provide longevity to our ministry. Forty acres of prime land on highway 66 in Hardee County have been donated as the site for the new complex. The daunting task now lies ahead of raising the funds for the construction of this new home. Please pray that the God of miracles will choose to make our dream a living reality.
